This week I saw a man cuddling a pigeon. I saw another man hitting the back of his head over and over against a pole and laughing in the Montgomery MUNI station. There was a naked-chested man in full, beaded Aztec warrior garb hanging out by the water fountains in The Snackademic food court at school. Some guy I passed on the sidewalk outside of work yelled at me, “Why is everybody staring at me?” There was also a microwave plugged in at the bottom of the escalator at the 24th Street BART station.

And not one of these spottings occured on Halloween.
